The LER.me Digital Wallet gives learners and workers a portable, verified record of their skills, credentials, and experiences. Users own their data and can share it with employers, educators, career coaches, and case managers to unlock opportunities.
The wallet supports:
The ability to establish a personal profile including employability information such as if you have a valid Driver’s License or can Lift 50lbs.
The ability to build a skills portfolio, track competencies, and include experiences earned based on the progress made in any education, training, and work experience including, but not limited to middle school, high school, higher education, coursework, short- and long-term certificate & certification programs, apprenticeships, work-based learning opportunities, degrees, and military experiences.
Users build their skills, competencies, credentials, and experiences by:
Syncing validated records from systems of record including but not limited to: SISs, LMSs, HRISs, ATSs, LER/Wallet providers, badging and tracking platforms and/or secure data loads on a cadence
Connecting with registered apprenticeship records
Embedding badges built on all open standards including OBv1, OBv2, OBv3, and CTDL
Uploading LERs, Resumes, PDFs, Images and Badges
Linking any learning & work evidence
Self-attesting skills from the education and industry-aligned ontology
Self-attesting experiences from education and industry-aligned occupations
Exporting EBSCOed-issued validated badges in OBv3
Creating and curating skills-based LERs
Exporting as PDF or CLR 2.0
Users gain the ability to understand how their skills, competencies, credentials, and experiences align with workforce needs, employer expectations, and stack towards future education and career pathways by sharing their LER with the EBSCOed Recommendation Engine to identify personalized Career Pathway(s), Opportunity Matches (jobs, apprenticeships, internships, co-ops, etc), and Learning / Upskilling recommendations.
